Social Studies
Grade 4 Course Overview

Students in 4th grade use the concepts of  diversity, identity, opportunities, and change, to explore several important periods in history. Using inquiry as a frame, students  consider what has motivated people to change both in the past and today. Students will expand their understanding and knowledge of our not only our country but our world.  Along the way, students will use a variety of informational text including maps and timelines and primary and secondary sources in their shared inquiry and studies.
