The New Canaan High School Academic Make-up Program would like to invite you to earn back lost credits on previously taken courses. Flexible scheduling, along with additional distance learning courses, often make it possible to take two or more make-up courses, earning back 1+ credits. We also recommend taking make-up courses to bolster a student’s transcript or as an audit tutorial for high school age students. Depending on enrollment, make-up options will be offered in more regular section courses.  Students from outside the New Canaan Public School District are welcome to register for classes. 

Classes start June 30th and run until July 18th (no class July 4th)

Course Offerings:

• Social Studies: Global I & II, Western Civilization and Civics. Also can accommodate specialty course offerings.

• Spanish 1 and 2

• English: grades 9, 10, 11 or 12

• Math: Geometry, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 and 2, Precalculus

• Science: Biology, Geo-Physical Science

• Physical Education

• Health – all grades – distance learning with teacher contact.

Times and Locations:

*An exact class offering schedule is not presented at this time because a conflict matrix is built as requests come in; this maximizes course opportunities for all students. Course offerings depend on enrollment – so register early to influence the outcome.

 Cost:   

• Each academic class - $385                         

• Physical Education class - $210            

Go to www.myschoolbucks.com to make payment.  Once there, follow these directions to select and pay for your courses.
