New Canaan High School is excited to announce their annual art exhibition at the Carriage Art Barn Center. The event will open with a reception on Thursday, March 14 to be held 5- 6:30 p.m before the opening of exhibition, called “Through Our Eyes XII,”. All are welcome to attend. The
"Through Our Eyes XII" exhibition will run from March 15 to 30, featuring dozens of paintings, drawings, photography, mixed media and other work from 120+ NCHS students. Each piece in this exhibition tells a story about that student’s interests, beliefs, artistic progression or how they view the world around them. It continues to be an exciting way to highlight some of the most exceptional work created by students at every grade level within NCHS' visual arts classes. S
The gallery is open to the public and is free to enter. The reception is expected to gather students, their families, along with much of the NCPS administration and Carriage Barn members and supporters. The Board of Directors of the Carriage Barn Arts Center will also be presenting this year’s $1,000 scholarship award to one exceptional artist to further their artistic pursuits or education.
We encourage everyone to stop by and view the incredible work of these talented students! Hours are Wed-Sat 10am-3pm and Sunday 1-5pm.
