Please see below for the upcoming end-of-year exam schedule and important details from Principal Egan.
Dear Students, Parents, and Faculty,
As we approach the end of the year, I wanted to share with you our new exam schedule, which has been shaped by the valuable feedback from our recent midterm survey. Your input has been instrumental in helping us create a more effective and supportive environment for everyone.
We have taken your suggestions(from the surveys sent out about midterms) into consideration and decided to modify our exam review days to half days. This change will allow students to have additional time after dismissal for extra help and support, making these days more productive.
On exam days, we have adjusted the schedule to give students a bit more time in the morning. The first exam will start at 9:30 AM, with lunch from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The second exam will conclude by 1:30 PM. This allows students to have extra time for studying, getting extra help, or making up exams in the morning. Additionally, from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM, students can receive further assistance, or study for exams.
Here are some key benefits of this new schedule:
Half-Day Review Sessions: More time for extra help and support after dismissal.
Later Start: Allows students to sleep in, study, or get extra help before exams.
Flexible Afternoon: Time from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM for additional support, or to study.
Improved Productivity: More focused and efficient use of time during review days.
Enhanced Support: Increased opportunities for students to receive help when needed.
Lunch: - Set time for students to eat lunch and fuel up before their next exam
Bus travel: - Buses will operate on our normally scheduled times allowing students access to extra help, to study or get breakfast.
Quiet study:- The library, and other spaces, will be open for quiet study and the cafeteria will be open for food and an opportunity to recharge.
Dogs:- Don’t worry we will still have dogs to de-stress.
Thank you again for your feedback, and I hope this new schedule supports everyone's needs effectively.
Best,
Bill Egan
Principal
