For the last month and a half, the entire South School 3rd grade has come together to collect almost 300 items for The Precious Dreams Foundation, a foundation that helps youth in foster care and homeless shelters uncover paths to fostering their dreams.
Through the student's hard work, alongside donations from teachers and families in the area, students assembled and donated 55 comfort bags to shelters in Stamford and Norwalk. Packs included new children's pajamas, books, journals, stuffed animals, receiving blankets, and even fidget tools.
Contacts from both shelters were extremely grateful for the donations and mentioned how excited the children living there would be to receive them.
